I Just Want It To Be Over

Idea of the story:
This story is about a girl who has a guy that plays games. It hearts her so bad to hear all these rumors about the girls he be seen with. She knows that they are true; she just doesn’t want to believe it. He’s hardly spends time with her. Maybe it’s because he’s always with those other girls. However, whenever they are together, he’s always so sweet to her. If you was to ever see them together, you wouldn’t believe those rumors as much as she don’t want to. All her friends thinks she should leave. His friends even tell her that. At this point she doesn’t know if he loves her or not. She doesn’t even know if she loves him. She can’t seem to leave him even though she wants it to be over.

They are all at school during lunch time. Everyone except Omari. One of Alexis old friends Aleyna walk up to her.

Aleyna: Hey Lexi!
Alexis: What’s Up?
Aleyna: Nothin. You know wear Omari is?
Alexis: No. Why?
Aleyna: Cause I just saw him with that girl Jennifer.
Alexis: If you knew, why you ask?
Aleyna: Cause I wanted to make sure you knew where your man was.
Alexis: Well thanks for letting me know.
Aleyna: Anything for an old friend. I guess I’ll see you later.
Alexis: Alright. Bye.
Aleyna left.

Kayla: She need to mind her damn business.
Briana: Girl you need to leave him alone.
Alexis: How many times are you gonna tell me that.
Briana: Until you listen.
Alexis: (sigh) Just because he’s with a girl, doesn’t mean that he’s cheating.
Chelsea: We know but this isn’t the only time he’s with another girl. Isn't it weird how he’s ALWAYS with another girl and that girl is never you.
Alexis: Why does this bother ya’ll so much? I would understand if you was going through this but you're not. It’s not like it’s your problem.
Kayla: What You go throuh, we all go through.
Briana: We just looking out for you girl.
Alexis: I know. And I don't need you to. But thanks anyway.

Omari walks up to the table. Everybody is lookin' around waiting for Alexis to say something.

Omari sits down next to Alexis.

Omari: Baby.
Alexis: Omari.
Omari: Hey!
Alexis: Hi!
Omari: I got something for you.

Omari takes out a long skinny box out of his jacket. He opens it in front of Alexis and in the box is a charm bracelet.
Alexis: Awww! It’s beautiful! Thank you.
Omari: Listen. I know that a lot of rumors have been going on this week about me with these other girls. So I went looking all weekend for the perfect gift to show who much I care for you and that in the future you shouldn’t believe everything you hear because they are not true. Ok?
Alexis: Ah huh. (knowing that he’s lying)
Omari: I love you.
Alexis: I love this bracelet.
Omari: (smiles)
Briana: I see why you stay with his ass now.
Alexis: Whatever.
Kayla: You should make him get you something for every lie he tell you.
Briana: You’d have a lot of gifts then.
Them: (lol)
Omari: You gonna let them talk about me like that baby?
Alexis: Oh I’m sorry. (playing) Take that back!
Girls:(lol)
Omari: Oh alight. Ya’ll go ahead and laugh.
Alexis: Omari we just playing.

Some girl walked up to the table with something in her hand.

Girl: Hey Omari! (tryna sound cute)
Omari: Hey Danielle.
Danielle: I’m having a party this Friday.

She gave him an invitation.

Danielle: You should come.
Omari: iight.
Danielle: Oh and your little friend can come too.(pointing to Alexis)

Danielle walked away.

Alexis: Oh no that hoe didn’t! (about to get up) I don’t think she know who she messin wit. I will kick her ass!
Omari: Baby calm down.
Alexis: Omari, I’m tired of your little hoes messin with me.
Omari: Baby I don’t have any hoes. Just you.
Alexis: What! I’m a hoe now.
Omari: No not like that.
Alexis: Whatever.(getting up) I’m tired of this.

Alexis got up and left.

Dustin: You better go shopping for another gift.
Them: (lol)
Omari: Man shut-up.(leaving)

The bell rung and everybody headed to class. There was two more periods before school ended. When school was finally over, everybody went to their lockers. Alexis was at her locker when Omari walked up to her.

Omari: Hey babe.
Alexis: Hey!
Omari: Meet me at my car.
Alexis: Kay!

Omari went to his car. Alexis went to find Briana, Chelsea and Kayla. She found them.

Alexis: Hey. Where ya’ll going?
Kayla: To get Asia.
Alexis: When you get her come over to my crib so we can chill.
Briana: Light.
Chelsea: Bye.
Alexis: Later.

Alexis was on her way to Omari’s car. She stopped when she saw that he was all up on some girl. She just stood there and waited for the girl to leave.

Girl: So what time are you coming over?
Omari: Around 6.
Girl: Alright. See you later baby.
Omari: Ok Stacey.
Stacey: Give me a kiss.

Omari looks up to see Alexis.

Omari: I’ll give you one later. Bye.

The girl left. Alexis started to go to Omari’s car. They both got in the car.

Omari: That girl gets on my nerves.(lying)
Alexis: Why? What she say?(knowing that he lying)
Omari: Uhhhh. I wasn’t listening to a word she was saying.
Alexis: Oh.(not believing)

He dropped her of at her house. She got out the car.

Omari: Love you.

Alexis ignored him and went inside. Omari just drove off. On Omari’s Way home, Marques called him. Marques is like a older brother to Omari.

Omari: Hello?
Marques: What’s up?
Omari: Nothin. I’m suppose to go over Stacey’s house at 6.
Marques: I thought you went with Alexis.
Omari: I do.
Marques: When are you gonna stop doing that to her? You know what you doing is wrong.
Omari: I know, but I can’t seem to stop.
Marques: You probably didn’t even try.
Omari: I’mma call you back.
Marques: Why cause you know I’m right?

Omari just hung up. He knew that Marques was right but he didn’t feel like hearing his lectures. He was gonna stop one day, just not no time soon. Briana, Chelsea, Kayla, and Asia was on their way to Alexis house. Alexis was just finishing her homework. 15 minutes later her doorbell rang. She went to answer it. It was the girls.

Alexis: Hey ya’ll!
Chelsea: Hey!
Briana: What was you doing?
Alexis: Homework.
Kayla: Good girl.
Alexis: Shut-up.
Asia: So what’s up with ya’ll.
Kayla: Nothin.
Alexis: Nothing is ever up with you.
Kayla: Something is always up with you.
Briana: Speaking of which, Lexi, I saw your man talking to Stacey. He was so into that conversion he didn’t realize that I was getting in my car, which was park, right next to his. I heard him say something about 6.
Chelsea: That’s it. Wow that’s a lot.
Briana: Whatever. It may not be a lot, but it’s enough to know that their seeing each other at 6.
Alexis: I saw them talking too. When I went to his car, he was talkin âbout some she get on my nerves. I knew his ass was lyin but I didn’t pay it no mind.
Kayla: Bad girl. You suppose to curse his ass out, beat him up, then break up with him. Dang, you don’t know nothin about being a black woman.
Alexis: I can’t leave him without a reason.
Asia: But you have a reason. He’s a lyin, cheating, no good but got money nigga.
Alexis:(sigh)
Chelsea: Let’s change the subject. So are you going to that party?
Alexis: I guess. I don’t have anything else to do.
Briana: We’re going to another party and it doesn’t end until 3. You should come.
Alexis: Who’s WE?
Briana: The girls and our guys.
Alexis: Then I’mma be by myself.
Briana: I forgot.
Asia: Don’t Dustin and them. Have a brother.
Chelsea: Yeah I forgot about him.
Alexis: If they have a brother, how come he never sits with us.
Kayla: He doesn’t have the same lunch period as us.
Alexis: Oh.
Asia: We should introduce ya’ll.
Alexis: Ok.
Chelsea: He is so cute.

The girls left around 5:30. Her brother Josh came home at 6.

Josh: What’s up!
Alexis: Nothin.
Josh: My day was not good.
Alexis: Awe, poor you. I don’t care
Josh: Whatever. See you later.
Alexis: Ok.

Alexis decided to called Omari’s cell phone to see if he was really out with Stacey. He picked up.

Omari: Hello?
Alexis: Omari?
Omari: Hey baby.
Alexis: What are you doing?
Omari: (lying) I’m playing basketball.
Alexis: Oh.
Stacey: Hang up!
Alexis: Who was that?
Omari: (lying) Umm, the t.v.
Alexis: Outside?
Omari: I never said I was outside.
Alexis: But you said you playing Basketball.
Omari: Oh, right. (thinking of a le.)Well,... um, see uh, my hommie got a wireless t.v outside.
Alexis: (not believing) oh.
Omari: Um Lexi I got to go.
Alexis: Ok.
Omari: Love you.

She just hung up on him. She know he is with Stacey. Sometimes she really hates him. He hurts her so much. She just went to sleep. The next day (Friday) Omari picked her up to take me to school. They didn’t talk the whole ride. She didn’t feel like talking to him. She didn’t want to hear his lies. They made it to the school. She quickly got out and walked to the crew.

Alexis: Hey everybody! (happy)
Them: Hey... etc.
Kelly: Why you so happy?
Brian: Omari gave you another gift?
Alexis: No.
Chelsea: Where is Omari?
Alexis: Back there some where.

Omari ran up to them.

Kelly: Anyways, Back to my question, Why you so happy?
Alexis: It’s more like excited.
Omari: You excited because of Danielle's party.
Alexis: (attitude) No.
Omari: Then why?
Briana: None of your gotdamn business.
Alexis: Come on girls.

The girls walked away. Everybody went to class. A few classes later, It was lunch time. Everybody was there except for Alexis which is unusual. Alexis finally got at the table. Instead of sitting next to Omari she sat across him.

Alexis: Hey everybody!
Them: Hey... What’s up...etc.
Omari: Hey baby!
Alexis: O.
Omari: What took you so long?
Alexis: (attitude) I don’t be asking you what be taking you so long so don’t ask me.
Omari: Sorry.

The table got quite.

Omari: Can I talk to you?
Alexis: Later.
Omari: Oh-Kay

They talked and ate until the bell rung. At the end of the day Alexis got her stuff from out her locker. Then she headed to Omari’s car and to her surprise he wasn’t talking to no girl today. I went over there and got in the car.

Omari: What is your problem?
Alexis: Hi to you too.
Omari: For real. You had an attitude at me all day. I wanna know what I did so I can fix it.
Alexis: I don’t know what you talkin about.
Omari: Don’t play games with me, you know what I’m talkin about.
Alexis: ................
Omari: I’m not taking you home until I get an answer.
Alexis: Too bad cause I don’t have an answer.
Omari: Then I ain’t taking you no where.
Alexis: You don’t have to. I’ll walk.

She was about get out when Omari stopped her.

Omari: You don’t have to do that. I’ll take you home.
Alexis: I thought so.

The ride to Alexis house was quiet. They were finally at Alexis house.

Omari: I’m sorry I made you mad today.
Alexis: um hum.
Omari: Love you.
Alexis: ok.
Omari: See you at Danielle’s party.
Alexis: Can’t wait.(lyin)Bye.

Alexis left and went inside. she took an hour nap. When she woke up, she took a bath, picked out her outfit to the party. She choose to wear a light blue mini, light blue shirt and a white short sleeve jacket with her light blue and white air force ones with her white purse. She put on her underwear, brushed her hair, then put on her clothes. Then she called Omari.

Omari: Hello?
Alexis: Sorry I can’t go out tonight (cough, cough) I’m sick.
Omari: Poor baby. Want me to stop by.
Alexis: No. I get pretty catchy.
Omari: Ok, well I’ll see you later.
Alexis: Kay.
Omari: Love you.
Alexis: Bye.

She hung up. She put on some lip gloss and headed downstairs. She waited for the doorbell to ring. When it finally did she checked herself in the mirror, then went to answer it. When she answered it, she saw the cutest thing ever.

Alexis: Hi I’m Alexis.
Guy: Hi. I’m Patrick, your date for this evening.

Omari: Because when called your house Tarvis you weren’t there. What’s all that noise.
Alexis: That’s because I’m at Briana’s house, you know how her house is my house, we’re listening to music.
Omari: Can I talk to her?
Alexis: Hold on.

Alexis: Briana, Omari wants to talk to you.
Briana: (grabs the phone) What you want butthead?
Omari: I just wanted to check something.
Alexis: (grabs the phone)I’mma call you back babe. Bye.

She hung up.

Kelly: Wow. Whoever knew you was so sneaky.
Alexis: Shut-up, it’s not even like that.
Kelly: Right, it’s your first time.
Alexis: Shut-up. It’s not being sneaky, it’s common sense.
Kelly: Yeah right.
Alexis: Leave me alone.
Patrick: Leave her alone.(putting his arms over Alexis’ shoulders)
Alexis: (smiles, puts her arms around his stomach and looks at him)

The crew was looking at them and thought that they should hook up. They know that Patrick can treat Alexis way better than Omari already does. And it’s obvious that they like each other.

They left the party at 2:15 and headed home. They were on their way to Alexis’ house. Patrick walked her to her door.

Alexis: Tonight was fun.
Patrick: Yeah. I had a good time with you.
Alexis: Me too. I mean with you.
Patrick: I get it. So we still on for Friday night?
Alexis: Of course.
Patrick: See you soon.
Alexis: Kay. Bye.

Patrick gave her a hug then kissed her on the cheek goodnight. Alexis went inside. Josh was sleep on the couch. She went over to him. and woke him up by scream his name very loud.

Josh:(mad) What man?
Alexis:(nice, soft voice) I’m home.
Josh: You just love messin with me don’t you?
Alexis: It’s funny to see you mad.
Josh: Leave me the fuck alone man.
Alexis: When I feel like it. Which is now, but I’ll be back.
Josh: Whatever man.

Alexis went upstairs to her room and switched into her pjs. She watched t.v then went to sleep.

The next day she woke up at 11:00. She went downstairs and made her some cereal. Josh comes downstairs.

Josh: (looking at Alexis bowl) What you eating?
Tarvis: Damn you dumb.
Alexis: (looking at Josh like he stupid) Pancakes.
Josh: Ya’ll always gotta be mean to somebody.
Alexis: You always gotta be dumb when you talking to somebody.
Josh: Shut-up. I’m going to Chris house.
Alexis: I don’t care.
Josh: Bye bitch ass.

Josh left. Alexis went to go take a shower and put on her clothes.
When she was done, she went downstairs and watch BET on her couch. Her doorbell rung so she went to go answer it. When she opened the door, she was surprised to see Patrick.

Alexis: Oh my gosh. Hi.
Patrick: Surprise, surprise. Hey.
Alexis: What are you doing here?
Patrick: I came to see you.
Alexis: That’s nice of you.
Patrick: Got you a flower.
Alexis: Thank you. Have a seat.
Patrick: Ok.
Alexis: Want anything to drink?
Patrick: No thanks.
Alexis: Ok.
Patrick: What you doing today?
Alexis: I’m suppose to go see Omari for a quick minute, then see my girls at 4 so we can go to the mall. Why?
Patrick: Cause we can hang out later on. Maybe go to a movie or something.
Alexis: Maybe tomorrow.
Patrick: Maybe?
Alexis: We’ll definitely see each other later.
Patrick: Tomorrow right?
Alexis: Tomorrow.
Patrick: Ok.
Alexis: Cool.
Patrick: So what time you seeing ol’ man.
Alexis: Who Omari?
Patrick: Yeah.
Alexis: I don’t know. Probably around 3:30. Why?
Patrick: Just wanna know what time I should leave.
Alexis: Why you worrying about that now?
Patrick: Don’t want to have you off schedule I guess. What time you think I should leave?

Alexis: Cause that’s when I’m leaving.
