Chanelle: Hi Mom!
Mom: Hi honey. How did tutoring go?
Chanelle: Uh...well, I learned a lot
Mom: That's good
Chanelle: Uh, mom, where's the guys?
Mom: Don't you remember? They have a concert with Chris today.
Chanelle: Ohh ok. So it's just gonna be me and you tonight huh?
Mom: Yup. Oh, and Adrienne is coming over. Her mom and dad are on a business trip so she's gonna sleep over for a couple of days.
Chanelle: Really? Cool
Mom: She's gonna be staying your room so get your room ready.
Chanelle: Alright.
I ran up to my room and got my room ready. I quickly changed into another outfit. I wore this:

Adrienne: Hey girl! What's up?
Chanelle: Just fixing up your room for when you get here.
Adrienne: Oh cool.
Chanelle: Oh yeah. The guys are coming in late tonight 'cause they have a concert to do.
Adrienne: Where?
Chanelle: Foster City, I think...
Adrienne: What?! Aren't you worried?
Chanelle: Why should I be worried?
Adrienne: Because Jessica and Aaliyah are gonna be there!
Chanelle: WHAT?!
Adrienne: You didn't know? They've been bragging about going to that concert the whole day!
Chanelle: Crap...I know Aaliyah is gonna try n make a move on Kelly. Does Cat know?
Adrienne: Yeah. She heard that they were going. Kelly said Cat could come to the concert if she wanted but she trusts him so she said no.
Chanelle: Awww...well I guess I shouldn't be worried about Jessica making a move on Carnell then. Plus, me and Carnell aren't even going out.
Adrienne: Yeah but you should be! You should tell him that you like him!
Chanelle: No way!
Adrienne: Aww come on! He likes you too! It's so obvious that you guys should be together
Chanelle: *sigh* Well, if he liked me, he woulda asked me to go out or something
Adrienne: He probably doesn't wanna stress you out. Especially with you're tutoring and stuff. By the way, how's your tutoring going?
Chanelle: Awful. I hate Devon.
Adrienne: Lol. Well, think about the upside.
Chanelle: What upside? There IS no upside when you're being tutored by Devon!
Adrienne: Lol. Well, I'm coming over in 15 minutes so I better go.
Chanelle: Okay. Bye!

After I hung up with Adrienne, the door rang. I went downstairs and opened the door.
Devon: Hey
Chanelle: Oh my god...what are you doing here?!
Devon: I came to drop by your book. [ hands you a book ]
Chanelle: What? This isn't mine!
Devon: Oh. It's not? Well, since I'm here, you wanna go out for a bite or something?
Chanelle: Uh, no---
Just then my mom came.
Mom: Hi Devon! What are you doing here?
Devon: Hi Mrs. Brown. I just dropped by to bring back Chanelle's book
Chanelle: *mumbles* It's not my book...
Mom: What, honey?
Chanelle: Nothing.
Mom: So, Devon, I hear you're tutoring Chanelle. How is it going?
Devon: It's going great, Mrs. B.
Chanelle:
Mom: So, would you like to come in?
Chanelle: But Mom! Adrienne is coming over!
Mom: It'll be alright. She won't mind.
Chanelle: *mumbles* Yeah but

Mom: Chanelle, you have to speak up. I can barely hear you.
Chanelle: Nevermind.
Mom: So, would you like to come in?
Devon: That would be great. Thank you Mrs. B. [ he steps inside and gives me a wink ]
Mom: Oh by the way, have you eaten yet Devon? If you haven't you can stay for dinner
Devon: Thank you Mrs. B but my mom will kill me if I don't get home for dinner.
Mom: Alright. Chanelle, can you take your guest upstairs? Maybe you guys can watch a movie or something while I cook dinner.
Chanelle: *grumbles* Okay
We walked upstairs and sat on the couch. I made sure there was atleast 3 FEET between us at all times.
Chanelle: Let's just watch MTV.
Devon: Aiight.
I turned the channel to MTV and it was Punk'd.
Devon: Wow...this is just like old times
Chanelle: What?
Devon: You know...when we went out
Chanelle: :rolleyes: Well, we're not going out anymore so you can just forget about you and me ever hooking up. Again.
Devon: Hey! You don't have to get so defensive. Plus, you should never say never. You might end up changing your mind...
Chanelle: Right...
Devon: Hey...[ eyes me up and down ] You should wear shirts like that more often. [ he scoots closer ]
Chanelle: Um..can you--
Just then, Devon leans in and gives me a kiss.
Chanelle: [ pushes him away and gets off the couch ] DEVON! What the hell was that!?
Devon: Quit acting like you don't like me, Chanelle. I know you liked that kiss.
Chanelle: I`m not the one who's acting. You and me are over, ok? This is for real. Stop acting like we're still together because we're not! I tried being nice but this just isn't working. I think you should go.
Devon: Fine, fine I get the picture. Can I get one last kiss?
Chanelle: NO! Now LEAVE!
Devon: Damn. What's with the attitude? Well, I'll see you tomorrow
I ran to my room and shut the door. I could hear Devon saying good bye to my mom. That's it! First thing tomorrow morning, I'm breaking off our tutoring sessions.
